Dr. Doug and Dr. Sue have a family practice with an emphasis on holistic care.
Dr. Douglas Maguire
Dr. Doug received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors in 1998 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He previously earned a BA with majors in Biochemistry and Biology from Ripon College, 1981.
Dr. Doug was born and raised in Tewksbury. He is an avid Golfer and can often be seen playing on local golf courses. Doug is involved in a local Golf League and also a Bowling League.
He has served as president of the Merrimack Valley Chiropractic Society from 2002 through 2004. He is a member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, American Chiropractic Association, Merrimack Valley Chiropractic Association, and the Tewksbury Business Association.
Dr. Doug has a special interest in the treatment chronic pain, golf and sports performance and extremity injuries.
Dr. Doug has conducted stretching and golf performance classes, talks on diets, nutrition, vitamins, cholesterol, and school talks on spinal anatomy. He is always available to arrange a presentation to your group or association.
Dr. Susan Ferguson
Dr. Sue received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors and a BS in Biology in 1999 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. She previously worked as an R.N. in Ireland, England, Hong Kong and Norway and as a Ships Nurse for RCCL on "The Song of Norway."
2002 After Attending "Options for Animals" Chiropractic program she became a Board Certified Animal Chiropractor. She has an Animal Chiropractic Practice
in North Andover (see Furway Animal Chiropractic Page for more info).
Certified First Line Therapist in 2006 - a Therapeutic Lifestyle change program with an emphasis on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
Sue was born and grew up in Bangor Co. Down, Northern Ireland. She lived for over 10 years in Norway working onshore as a surgical nurse and in the Offshore Oil Industry . She is a qualified Commercial Diving Life Support specialist and has worked on many deep diving projects in the North Sea.
She has many interests but specifically a love for animals, nature, outdoor activities. She loves to walk with her dog Sadie, go horseback riding on Dante and cuddle up with her cats Sealy and Qball.
